Description
Photos from a wildflower hike from June 2. Most are spring ephemerals in Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park - which is one of very few intact habitat cores left in Ohio with stands of old growth surrounding the riparian zone. Hiking keeps me sane while trying to finish my MSUS thesis at home alone while juggling a full-time job, 2 busy kids and three volunteer jobs. I'm not progressing as fast as I want and am afraid of not getting done in time (Aug. 30). Crossed fingers that I do so I can advance my career which has become quite stagnant. :)
